Marek Bracha’s fascination with Romantic-era pianos led him to complete a course in period performance at the Royal College of Music in London. He has frequently performed at the Chopin Museum in Warsaw playing the Museum’s 1858 Erard. In 2015 he teamed up with Tobias Koch, one of the most celebrated period instrumentalists, to perform at the Grand Theatre and Polish National Opera in Warsaw. In June 2017, Marek Bracha appeared at Żelazowa Wola to perform a Chopin programme on an English Broadwood piano from the first half of the 19th century and later this year he lead a masterclass on period pianos during the Academy Of Period Pianos that took place in Lusławice, Poland.
